We are Amina Yusuf Auta Women and Youths Initiatives (AYA WYI), a community-based organization rooted in Potiskum Local Government Area, Yobe State, Nigeria. We work to empower women and young people to become drivers of positive change in their communities. Our mission is to address pressing social and environmental challenges through inclusive education, skills development, climate action, and advocacy for gender equality and human rights.

Founded on strong local partnerships and community trust, AYA WYI designs and implements grassroots programmes that promote sustainable livelihoods, youth participation, peacebuilding, and resilience to climate change. We prioritize vulnerable and marginalized groups, ensuring their voices shape solutions that affect their lives.

Driven by a passionate team and volunteers, we combine local knowledge with innovative approaches to build safer, more equitable, and sustainable communities for today and future generations.
